Real double-entry books, filled by the work you already do.

Sales and purchase invoices are synced to the ledger automatically. What remains for you is checking, not typing.

Keep books that any accountant can follow and verify.

Sales and purchase invoices are synced to the books automatically, so nobody types them over. Every movement has a debit and a credit. Entries are never edited, only reversed, and closed periods are locked. Work with your own chart of accounts: add, rename and regroup accounts to match the one your accountant uses. Profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance and the card of every account are there at any moment.

Double-entry books

Automatic sync

Every issued sales invoice and every approved purchase invoice is posted to the journal by itself.

Your own chart of accounts

Add, rename and regroup accounts so the ledger matches the chart your accountant uses.

Append-only journal

Entries are never edited or deleted. A correction is a reversal plus a new entry, so the trail stays intact.

Period lock

Close a month or a quarter and nothing can be posted into it any more.

Manual entries

Depreciation, salaries, opening balances: book them as manual entries with a description.

Reports

Profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance and the card of every account, for any period.

Four steps

  1. Set up the chartStart from the standard chart and adjust it, or rebuild the one your accountant gives you.
  2. Enter opening balancesOne manual entry puts the starting position in the books.
  3. Work as usualQuotes, invoices, purchase approvals and expense claims fill the journal.
  4. Close the periodCheck the trial balance, lock the period and download the reports.

Questions and answers

Do I need to know bookkeeping to use it?

For daily work, no: invoices and approvals create the entries. For manual entries and closing a year some bookkeeping knowledge helps, and your accountant can log in to do or check that part.

Can an entry be changed afterwards?

Not changed, but reversed. The original stays visible together with the reversal and the new entry, which is what auditors want to see.

Can my accountant work in it?

Yes. An accountant login is included and does not count towards your users.
